I'm so fucking proud of my kid. It's the best thing in the world to see him grow up, to see how his interests develop, to see how focused he can get when he is into something. And he is so funny. And he can be such a pain in the ass when he doesn't stop arguing with you. And I am so proud of him for that too.
I am so happy to have him, it is the best thing in the world. -
Number of children my son invited to each birthday party:
4th: 5 kids

7th: 13 and counting... -
I know since centuries Humankind used to mimic nature to invent something new.
But why had game developers to use the Pathfinding of Toddlers/children?

5:50am, I wake up to my kid humming the alarm clock sound (that usually is set for 6:30). I tap on his head to turn him off but "you can't turn me off daddy, I am the human alarm clock!".
Downstairs the dog starts making noise because now he's awake too and wants breakfast.
Now if you think that this is a rant, you are wrong.
This is amazing and I am absolutely privileged.Also the Spurs just beat the Thunder so that's nice.

Somehow I always thought that MY kids would just magically know, that I know better. But no no, I have to tell them every day, that I am right and they are wrong. What a hassle!

Personal takeaways:
- photos taken with the device could be hacked, so no photos of any children, possibly expand to no photos of anything identifiable
- distrust that messages definitively come from parents, they could be coming from everyone. In emergencies, call, don't text. Trust in messages like "be 5 m late, wait at the school/pickup spot" but not "there's been an emergency with grandmother, you're being picked up by mummy's friend" and not "take the bus/a taxi home instead of waiting for me"If at all possible, install @signalapp on the phone, it's just an android under the hood.

My kid is playing robot and was waiting for my commands. I programmed him to hang up the laundry and... he does it? What is happening? Was that always an option?

My child sharpens his pencils. He walks from the table to the kitchen counter, where the sharpener is, with each pencil individually.

One thing I can't wrap my head around is when parents show photos of their children, publicly online. For EVERYONE to see. Not only for their closest friends and family, but for EVERYONE. And no, I don't mean family influencers who basically make a living with that.
I mean your average social media user.

How to house two babys, when the Appartement is already small for two adults and a big dog. When they will be born It's the coldest and wettest time of the year. If warm enough, we could use the veranda, but notbin January. Also bad, there is no guaranty, that we can stay here another year. If we need to move, we won't find something much bigger with at least a little garden within our budget.
And we don't have much budget to buy many things for one baby, less even for twins. So we need a budget and space efficient solution for two winter babys. Especially where should they sleep whilst not blocking the way?
If someone knows someone who would rent an apartement to new parents with twins and a dog in Gush Dan (Israel, in and around Tel Aviv) for 5000 Shekel plus arnona and utilities, free from coming March. Hubby is a selfemployed trader. His mother can support us, if it is short in one month.

How would you Name twins, Gelder unknown yet, some kind of mix of everything Jewish? They shouldn't instantly recognized as Jewish just by their names, so their names should be something Jewish, but somewhat common among Non-Jews, Middle eastern and European alike.

Today my son had a charity run at school. The challenge was to run as many laps as possible. I told him in the morning that the key is to run at a slow pace, because if you start fast you'll get exhausted fast.
When I picked him up after school he told me that he managed to run the most laps of his class because the others were running really fast and gave up soon.
I'm not saying I'm the best coach in the world, but it might be close.
