There are a number of fediverse platforms, some (like #PeerTube @peertube) offer options (eg streaming video) which I don't think most/all Mastodon servers (instances?) support.

- “It doesn’t matter which instance you join.”
- “[…] this is what small, intentional instances should be for.”

Which is more true?

#feditip question: if I want to have a feed of all posts for one or more hashtags (like #generativeart, #creativecoding, etc ) but across all federated instances, how do I do that?

I can search for the hashtag and see posts, but is there any sense in which you can "follow" a hashtag so you don't have to search each time?

Asking for a friend.... 🤣

@Metzgirl Hashtags are the only thing searchable, so it’s recommended to use them as much as possible. 😀
