I'm a chronically ill trans person in the US. A sys admin with 5 years experience, mostly in the windows ecosystem with some moderate Linux experience. I have done some containerization and virtualization. I love to improve systems, processes and security.

So, the first of the year is coming up quickly. As many of you know, I've been unemployed from full-time employment for quite a long time. I've been working part-time jobs to make ends meet but I need to do more. I've decided to start doing some consulting.
I want to start offering a few services:
1. Building websites for individuals, small businesses, or non-profits.
2. Helping individuals, small businesses, non-profits with certain Information Technology needs. Mainly, Linux, Open Source Software, and networking.
I'm really hoping that this turns into something more than just small consulting work. I would love to start doing this full-time. At nearly 59, I don't see myself ever getting full-time employment any other way.

(Me)I have extensive experience leading teams. Workshop facilitation know-how. Hands-on experience in shaping team structures, crafting effective sociotech dynamics, optimizing delivery processes, and using a multitude of techniques to understand and break down complex problem domains into simple solutions.
I don't see myself as just an engineer, I'm a problem solver in tech. One that understands that simple beats complex and that you cannot ignore the human component in tech.
I'm looking for a remote position. Something where I can empower one or many teams and help you accelerate, improve, and simplify the whole software delivery lifecycle. 30h week. Preferably Elixir but if the conditions are right I don't really care.
