Cuando se vio descubierto, publicó un mensaje de despedida diciendo que el fediverso no merece la pena y que lo único que él hizo fue hacer lo correcto e intentar crear un lugar mejor pero que el fediverso es un lugar tóxico en el que destruyeron sus ilusiones: https://quokk.au/comment/5378102
Siguiendo en su línea, en su mensaje de despedida ocultó un código que lanza (o lo intenta) un ataque DDoS contra el servidor de Lemmy que lo destapó todo.

No sé si os enterasteis del último #fedidrama.
El autor de Tesseract, una interfaz para Lemmy (una de las alternativas del fediverso a Reddit), incluyó código para bloquear servidores y usuarios por motivos políticos (mayormente, por ser de izquierdas). La lista además se descargaba de Internet de forma que siempre podía añadir más cuando quisiera: https://lemmy.world/post/49778353

Entre a policía da moral e os bloqueos indiscriminados, estase quedando un Fediverso precioso para quen lle guste vivir nun búnker 🙄
É tan difícil entender que as ferramentas de bloqueo persoal existen por algo? A moderación estrita a nivel de instancia está convertendo isto nun lugar irrespirábel. Marchamos dun algoritmo que nos di que temos que ler para caer nun moderador que nos di o que non temos que ler. Pois igual o paxaro ou o ceo azul non son tan malos lugares.

There is apparently some kind of arcane fuckery occurring with F-Droid. Details are here: https://mastodon.pirateparty.be/@surfhosting/115674236291033568 I can't really be arsed to sort out all the drama right now, so I've uninstalled the app from my phone for the time being until all settles down.
An interesting few observations on this:
1. Unwarranted self-righteousness and self-importance leads to #fedidrama .
2. This is not at all a product of the #Fediverse , but of humans having to deal with other humans - often without direct contact or visual cues.
3. This is, in a funny way, why #billionaires and their brand of capitalism are such a poor phenomenon: because when they get this impulse to loudly toot their own horn, they back it up with money. That doesn't make what they do right, it just makes it loud, and more of a matter for the many innocent people out there to have to deal with.
4. This is really a matter of socialization...being mature enough to deal with a world where you can (and should) exercise autonomy while still realizing that others around you have a right to theirs, and that it is of mutual benefit to all to know where their nose is in relation to your swinging fist.

Greetings. You can call me Daemon. I was already on #Fediverse before I signed up here, particularly, under the handle @[email protected]. One of my main reasons to try and register here is what seems to be an ongoing "#Fedidrama" regarding .world instances, a drama of which I couldn't really grasp in depth but it seems like instances have been increasingly defederating from .world for some reason I don't know...
All I know is that I liked how #Calckey works, from all Fediverse platforms I've tested so far (and, WOW, 8000 character limit here, bigger than the 3000 character limit from the other instance I was participating in, excellent!), so I proceeded to find another Calckey instance and found this one, whose name called to my attention: Evil Social, perfect fit for me as a someone currently in Left-hand Path (#Lilithianism, #Luciferianism, #Gnosticism).
Guess that's enough for an #introduction. -

Two friends of mine handled #Fedidrama in completely different ways.
Person A got harassed by a well-known rabblerouser. They fired back publicly, calling them out. The result? The rabblerouser’s profile shot up, and the drama only got louder.
Person B knew that same rabblerouser was a chronic troublemaker. So they blocked them, their server, their enablers, and their servers—before anything even started. When the rabblerouser tried to stir trouble, they couldn’t tag Person B or rally a dogpile. Frustrated, they resorted to tagging Person B’s static website—basically the Fediverse equivalent of screaming at a brick wall.
The lesson? Sometimes the smartest move in #Fedidrama is to cut off the oxygen supply—quietly, cleanly, and without giving the fire anything to burn.

I’ve realised that people on the #Fediverse seem to be complaining a lot more recently.
Like… I feel that #Mastodon is just turning into normal social media, what I wanted to try to escape.
It could just be that it’s 03:49 and I can’t sleep, but I feel that everywhere I look, I see people complaining or #FediDrama.
How did this happen… how did my parts of my feed turn into negativity?
