Hello everyone I’m happy to announce officially the
🎨 Fediverse Art Secret Santa! 🎅
Because I want to get to know some cool people and artist on Fedi/Masto, I decided to organize an Art Secret Santa!
Each participant will share one art prompt/theme they’d like to receive art of. You’ll then be assigned another person’s prompt to create art for, and we all share the result around Christmas!
| How It Works
Create an unique piece of art - whether it’s a quick doodle or a detailed illustration - for your assigned Secret Santa recipient between December 7th and January 1st.
| Rules & Guidelines
- Sign-up deadline: December 7th
- Comment your request below to participate. Make sure it’s something not too specific to give your Santa some freedom to interpret your request
- Must have an active account with a few posts; casual artists are welcome!
- Art Requirements
- Digital or traditional art welcome
- Keep it family-friendly
- Sign your artwork! (I mean it’s not a hard rule but it’s cool if you do)
- Timeline
- December 7th: Receive your Secret Santa assignment via DM
- December 7th - December 24th: Create your artwork
- December 24th - January 1st: Time to post your creation (if you’re late that’s okay I’m not your mom)
- Artwork Guidelines
- Original art only (no AI-generated art, that’s not really fun)
- Can be anything from a simple sketch to a full illustration, however you feel like it
- Tag your recipient when posting, and include the hashtag #FediArtSantaExchange2024
