📢 Le 3 juillet dernier, le conseil scientifique du comité de bassin Seine-Normandie a émis un avis sur les gestions alternatives des #urines et matières fécales humaines, communément nommées « séparation à la source des excrétats humains ».
💡 Il reconnait le potentiel d’amélioration conjointe de la gestion de l’eau et de la souveraineté alimentaire de la séparation à la source, et recommande notamment de :
✔️ soutenir les filières alternatives déjà mises en place ;
✔️ soutenir la recherche, le développement et l’innovation en la matière ;
✔️ systématiser les études d’opportunités de mises en œuvre de séparation à la source et réaliser les projets dès que le contexte local est favorable ;
✔️ former les acteurs à ces nouvelles pratiques et animer/accompagner la structuration des filières ;
✔️ réformer les modèles économiques.Depuis dix ans, des projets tendent à se développer sur le bassin Seine Normandie, au point que ce bassin est désormais devenu une référence mondiale en matière de séparation à la source des excrétats humains.
