To make an end – FebphotoFest Day 29
“For last year's words belong to last year's languageAnd next year's words await another voice. And to make an end is to make a beginning."~ T.S. Eliot
I did it! Year 10 of February PhotoFest is in the bag!
I think this might have been the most challenging one yet. Not in relation to the images or ever the

Rear-View – FebPhotoFest Day 26
“A convex seer, this rear-view mirror lets me peer into the landscape unwinding behind me, but it cannot show what is ahead, nor how I should turn next.”― Doireann Ní Ghríofa
We walk this path all the time as apart from in the worst of the wet winter months it remains relativity passable and not too muddy.

Restrained
“Those who restrain desire do so because theirs is weak enough to be restrained.” ~ William Blake
The rope cuts into your wrists as you tug on it. Testing its strength and my ability to tie a knot. I grin down at you. Your eyes flit from my face to somewhere lower. A little moan escapes your lips.

Deeper truth
"Although humans see reality in colour, for me, black and white has always been connected to the image's deeper truth, to its most hidden meaning." ~ Peter Lindbergh
This weeks Throw back image is a really simple change and the quote feels perfect because the original, shared last April in this post, Shapley, is in colour but the new edit i

She was anyone's, and anyone could do anything to her. She had one, two, three orgasms, one after another. She imagined everything she had never imagined before, and she gave herself to all that was most base and most pure.” ~ Paulo Coelho

Sunset – FebPhotoFest Day 16
She waits.
Watching the sun sink in the sky.
He promised he would be back. Cupping her face and kissing her before whispering into her mouth. “I will be back before sunset for you. Trust me.”
And then he was gone. Locking the door firmly behind him. Leaving her naked, bound, alone.

Ghost – FebPhotoFest Day 15
“She was beautiful, ethereal, and in that glow, she should have reminded him of an angel. But to his horror, he realized that she didn’t.She reminded him of a ghost." ~ Jacqueline E. Smith
I have always really liked this image. I took it on my phone in really low light. The result is my phone has pixelated it slightly and also it was slig

Monkeying Around – FebPhotofest Day #12
I have long thought that 'Exercise Area' on the Scavenger Hunt location list would be one that I would never manage to get. It is not a common thing in the UK to have outdoor gym/exercise areas in parks etc and so I have mostly dismissed it as a possible. That was until we moved house a couple of years ago and I started explo

Waters – FebPhotofest Day 9
"Where the waters do agree, it is quite wonderful the relief they give."~ Jane Austen
The waters fall, washing away her smell but it can never clean me.
I’m forever dirtied by her.

Quality Street – FebPhotofest Day 3
Did you know that Quality Street got it's name from a play by J.M Barrie? Did you also know that these sweets were invented by Harold Mackintosh in Halifax, West Yorkshire in 1936?
The idea behind them was really to bring boxes of chocolates to the masses. Up to that point a box of chocolates wa

Margo and Eliot – FebPhotofest Day 2
"There was enough hiding in life. Sometimes you just wanted to show somebody your tits."~ Margo, Lev Grossman
This quote is from The Magicians. I am fairly sure they are words spoken by the power Queen that is Margo (Janet in the books) Margo is a kick arse bitch and the chemistry in show between her and Eliot was at times intox
