Frozen shrimp sold in Price Chopper, Jewel-Osco, Albertsons, Safeway and Lucky Supermarket may have been exposed to Cesium-137.
They were sold in the following states:

So, I tend to use #cinnamon sticks rather than ground cinnamon (and when I use ground cinnamon, I stick to well-known organic brands). Apparently, there could be *some* lead in cinnamon sticks from soil contamination, but the lead found in ground cinnamon seems to have been added by the manufacturers to make it weigh more. Wow...!

Raw Bistro Pet Fare of Cannon Falls, Minnesota, issued a Oct. 10 recall of two sizes of its frozen beef dog food: "Raw Bistro Dog Fare Grass-Fed Beef Entrée, Frozen” in 3-pound bags and “Raw Bistro Dog Fare Grass-Fed Beef Entrée, Bulk, Frozen” in 18-pound cases.
Meanwhile, Foodynamics of Wales, Wisconsin, issued an Oct. 9 recall of multiple varieties of its freeze dried pet treats sold under the brand names #RawDogBarkery, #BellePepperCats, #KanuPets and #WhatsInTheBowl.
Both recalls come after FDA samplings of the products revealed the presence of salmonella. No adverse health effects have been reported in pets or humans to date, the FDA said.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has expanded its warning about radioactive shrimp, recalling two more brands due to possible contamination with Cesium-137. Nearly 18,000 bags of frozen Kroger Mercado Cooked Medium Peeled Tail-Off Shrimp and 26,460 packages of cocktail shrimp, both from Seattle-based Aquastar Corp, were recalled , in addition to the Walmart Great Value shrimp and frozen shrimp that the agency had previously alerted about. Phil Broughton, a health physicist, speculates for his Funranium Labs blog about what led to an FDA recall notice for shrimp sold at Walmart that may have been contaminated with Cesium-137.
