I agree with the general discourse that con DJs are not regular attendees and also distinct from dealers. But there are some furry DJs are out there demanding comped hotel rooms, which is way too much cost for the con to eat.
Setting a great example, @furcationland is comping basic registration, lending logistics time and energy to get me where I need to be, and can skip reg line to make my set time.
These relatively little (affordable) perks demonstrate the respect for talent working the con that DJs are asking for. More cons be like Furcationland!
