What's the most ethical way to rideshare / taxi in #NWA particularly #FayettevilleAR ?
I'm normally the DD, but I'd like to figure out the best way into town to drink with friends and get back without driving. I live alone, so it's not like I can get a roomie to drive me in.
I know Uber and Lyft are both options, but I don't know if either or both is treating their drivers well. I'd prefer an Android app, but a number I could call would also be fine.

In a city that touts itself as "bike friendly," I have to ride 25% to 33% longer routes to go somewhere by bike than by car. Think about that: the people who move via physical labor have to go greater distances, while the people in a portable living room wiggling their foot to move have the shortest path every time.
And that's assuming a destination is accessible by bike at all.

Today we rode the Fayetteville Traverse, a mountain bike loop that goes around the city. Over 22 miles. My 9yo son did really well, especially considering the difficulty rating. It took us around 6 hours.
At about 80% through, my son was starting to tap out, so we detoured to a restaurant and got him as many refills on root beer as he wanted.
Soda and children: an effective bribe and hydrating!
