  1. Musical Stimming: Songs I'll Damage My Hearing To By Turning Up The Volume On My Good Headphones Until My Entire Body Is Vibrating

(not exhaustive, but fairly thorough, at least for Tonight's Mood)

"Let Me Drown" - Orville Peck
    "Letting Go" - Jennifer Knapp
"Hark, I Hear the Harps Eternal" - trad. arr. Alice Parker

    "Evermore" - Josh Groban
"I Promise You a Happy Ending / Movies Were Movies" - Douglas Sills
"Hot Knife" - Fiona Apple (sometimes "Every Single Night" or "On I Go")
"Who Will Love Me As I Am?" from Side Show
"Make Our Garden Grow" from Candide
"Hold My Hand" - Lady Gaga
"Don't Rain on My Parade" - Barbra Streisand (or the Funny Girl overture (Broadway version))
"Come to My Garden / Lift Me Up" from The Secret Garden (also "How Could I Ever Know?" performed by Renee Fleming & Bryn Terfel if I want to cry)
"Brave Enough for Love" from Jane Eyre: The Musical
"She Was There" from The Scarlet Pimpernel (Douglas Sills)
"The Trouble With Wanting" - Joy Williams
"Always / Goodnight" - Sierra Boggess, Jane Monheit
"I Couldn't Hear Nobody Pray" - Barbara Hendricks
"Glitter and be Gay" from Candide (Natalie Dessay)
"Come Together" - Gary Clark Jr, Junkie XL
"Madam Guillotine" from The Scarlet Pimpernel
"The Brightest Lights" - King Charles, Mumford & Sons
"Bright Morning Stars" - arr. Shawn Kirchner; St. Charles Singers, Jeffrey Hunt
"The Man That Got Away" and "Stormy Weather" - Judy Garland (at Carnegie Hall)
"The Devil I Know" - Dorothy ("Gifts from the Holy Ghost" and "THE WAY" are both solid albums to get lost in)
"Suite: Judy Blue Eyes" - Crosby, Stills, & Nash
"Love the One You're With" - Stephen Stills
    Rutter: Gloria: I. Allegro vivace
Rutter: Gloria: III. Vivace e ritmico
Bernstein: Chichester Psalms: 1. Psalm 108:2 "Urah, hanevel, v'chinor!" - Psalm 100 "Hariu l'Adonai kol kaarets"
"Before I Sleep" - Joy Williams
    "Sous le sable" - Camille
Mahler: Symphony No. 8 in E-Flat Major "Symphony of a Thousand": I. Hymnus: "Veni, creator spiritus" *conducted by Leonard Bernstein
Mahler: Symphony No. 2 in C Minor "Resurrection": V. Finale. Im Tempo des Scherzos *(last five minutes)* *conducted by Leonard Bernstein
"O My Luve's Like a Red, Red Rose" arr. René Clausen
Beethoven: Symphony No. 9 in D Minor, Op. 125 "Choral": IVb. Recitativo. O Freunde, nicht diese Töne! *conducted by Leonard Bernstein

Yea… it's lots of brassy or yearning musicals and swelling choruses and soaring classical and churning rock/folk/alternative… That's how we roll.

  2. @NovemberMan
    #DireStraits you say?
    I have had this honor;
I was a roommate with a guy just out of HS and before #Infantry who wanted to learn the guitar lead to #SultansOfSwing. He purchased a 45 of the song, put it on the record player and clicked the repeat button, this was 1982. That song played non-stop until the record was so worn that walking into the room started it skipping. It played for around 2 months, 24/7. At night we turned it down to barely audible.
    Still one of my #FavoriteSongs

  3. Sharing one of my #favoritesongs by my favorite band, #PinkFloyd (not to mention being from one of my favorite albums by them too!) for some #positive #saturdayvibes. Hope yinz have a great weekend! #meddle #music
