Anyone know good stories where selling your soul actually works out pretty well for the person doing the selling?
I'll give an example: Goth Western is a really awesome webcomic and graphic novel which the author describes asA story about selling your soul for love, and how necromancy may not fix all your problems, but it’s certainly a start.
At the start of the story, Evelyn (one of the two protagonists) dies in a shoot-out (it's a stereotypical "wild west" setting). Her girlfriend Jackie sells her soul to Millustra, the god of love and death, to bring Evelyn back to life. It's really well-written and gay.

Fair warning, don't ever buy a pair of shoes like these. Sure, they look fantastic. They were 75% off. We were in New Orleans. My size, normally difficult to find, WAS THE ONLY SIZE LEFT.
It's a trap. Once you own a pair of shoes like these, you find yourself thinking, "Can I wear those to that CISO roundtable? I mean, I already picked out a rose-colored dress shirt so they match, right? Obviously."
Before too long, it's no longer you wearing the shoes. It's the shoes wearing you.
But, yeah, I'm totally wearing them to the roundtable.
