@fuck_cars_bot Eeyupp - the #Enshittification and #Fattening of #Cars is so absurd over the decades that a Garage built in 1953 can barely fit a car made in 1986 and can't fit any #car [as per EC Vehicle Classification M1] built today.
I really hate this and the only winning move - if #PublicTransport isn't an option - is to throw the concept of a car as we know it out of the Window and design a #PersonalLightVehicle instead...

@dmoser Call me weird but in terms of pollution and #CO2, we should rather ban industrial animal farming like sheep, cattle and pigs instead, as they (as well as extensive fertilization) are by a factor of 10 more GWP-equivalent.
Also what is needed is to push for more #PublicTransport & #AccessibleBroadband in rural areas and an end to the #fattening of #cars aka. #SuperUselessVehicles as @notjustbikes showcased:

@helenczerski what I see as major issue is the #fattening of cars at the expense of passive safety for cyclists and walking people.
Furthermore most cars are just absurdly heavy and overly complex...

@FuckCarsReddit and sadly this knock-on effect is even visible in other markets: A Garage built in 1953 can barely fit a 1986 minitruck and won't even fit a 2007 Corsa D 3-door compact.
And that "#fattening" of cars can't be solely from safety features alone!!!
