Features my favorite beefy anime boy Iskander from Fate/Zero in a Rider/Waver pairing I'm sure no one is surprised about who's seen the show. What a king 👑 😍
(I believe the title of this is "Omae to Boku no XX Jijou" by trigger.m? I'm not 100% on the author but the scan was done by someone called ShotaCat.)

Kiritsugu Emiya plays winter games in the snow with his daughter Illyasviel von Einzbern prior to the beginning of the tragic and bloody Fourth Holy Grail War.
I love the cinematic framing here that works to make these two feel small in a wide and wonderous forest. I also really like the contrasts between the snowy whites and blues of the forest and sky verses Illyasviel's purple winter coat.
All in all, it's quite a beautiful and heartwarming scene!

AOTY: #Fatezero: We’ll be covering both halves of this anime in different years, so I won’t talk about everything here, just the stuff from the first cour. After a slow start (that circling conversation will haunt me for years), we’re off for a fun ride that also has some things to think about. Sure, it may not all work together (both because it causes some issues with the broader series and because it’s Urobuchi), but there’s still ideas to consider about the ways power can form and how it should be used in society.

Mastodon, what is your favorite #anime ?
Mine are actually Fate/Zero and Death Note. Although neither are perfect works, they have a special meaning to me from the impact they've had on me at certain periods of my life. Plus they are both very enjoyable.
