Tempted to post the popular 'Lullaby' song of The Cure for today's #TuneTuesday theme #EnterNight, but someone else posted another song by The Cure, and others are posting Metallica's 'Enter Sandman' covers, so there is already enough nightmare fuel out there. 🕸️
Therefore I am going to post something softer & nicer from #FatenKanaan 's amazing album 'A Mythology of Circles' and hope people will take the time to listen to her brilliant minimalistic compositions. 🤞

My #UnexpectedDelight is #FatenKanaan's Cascando, which I discovered on an Adult Swim's Digitalis compilation among tracks, which all had beats where Cascando had none whatsoever.
This was not the only unexpected part of this #TuneTuesday tune since the first 84 seconds of this track seem to be just random noises. Then suddenly out of this chaos the music takes shape! Sequentially layer on layer are added, changing the form of the music shape absolutely delightfully.
😘👌
Faten Kanaan ha fatto un altro bel disco. È composto di brevi schizzi di classica moderna e ambient, molto minimali. Il tutto dura meno di mezz'ora. È un ottimo disco per quando devi rimettere in connessione i neuroni la mattina presto
I have been waiting for this #FatenKanaan album since its announcement in July, and finally this week it delivered!🎉
My only rub is, that the tracks are too short. Just when I got into a track, the track ends, and the next track begins. With an average track length of about two and a half minutes, must everything have TikTok sized timespans? Is my age maybe showing here for not having that kind of attention span?
I just want a little more for my #SilentSunday please?🙏
I have honestly no idea what #BigCrescendos are...?
crescendo (plural crescendos or crescendi or crescendoes)
(music) An instruction to play gradually more loudly, denoted by a long, narrow angle with its apex on the left ( < ), by musicians called a hairpin.
Okay... would 'Cascando' by #FatenKanaan be a good example of today's #TuneTuesday theme then?
#BrittleCold - songs about the cold 🥶 is today's #TuneTuesday theme.
It is surprisingly difficult to find a song about this, except the obvious "You're cold as ice" one. I went through a couple of talented Icelandic 🇮🇸 artists, but funnily enough they don't create songs about how harsh their weather is.
Ended up with the brilliant composer #FatenKanaan from Jordan 🇯🇴 of all places. No lyrics, however, this composition makes you feel the freezing air crawl over your skin:
Happy #TuneTuesday 🎶 @Kitty
Today's song theme is from @derthomas
#FirstComeFirstPlayed Close your eyes, what's the first song that comes to mind?
My mind produces 'Viriditas' by #FatenKanaan from her 'The Botanist & The Archaeologist' debut album all the way from 12016 most likely in anticipation for her new upcoming album 'Diary of a Candle', which is going to be released in October this year. I cannot wait for that one! 🤓

The North Wind, by Faten Kanaa...
@imigueldiaz , you are welcome. 😌
The #modern #minimalism compositions of #HiroshiYoshimura from the #80s have stood the test of time, haven't they?
His albums are divided over 2 #Bandcamp accounts for some reason (lost password?), therefore I will link his 'Music for Nine Post Cards' debut album from his other Bandcamp account here below, so you can listen to more of his reissued albums.
This is also the album that inspired #FatenKanaan to make her upcoming album btw:

#FatenKanaan just announced her new 'Diary of a Candle' album, that'll be released in October. This album is inspired by the late Japanese composer 🇯🇵 #HiroshiYoshimura unknown to me, so did some research & found several recent reissues of his #ambient albums on #Bandcamp.
His music sounds like #Zelda game music, investigating it further turns out #KojiKondo composed that game music & no link could be found between them, alas.
His albums are perfect for a #SilentSunday :

Today's #TuneTuesday theme is #TrainingMontage and I have the brand-new 'Sidequest' track for you.
Not really exercise music, but I think #FatenKanaan is one of the most underrated #ElectronicMusic composers out there. Her mesmerising #ModernClassical compositions embrace #minimalism & #experimentation.
Please also listen to her other magnificent albums, like: 'Afterpoem', 'A Mythology Of Circles', 'Foxes'. 'Pleiade Hex 6', and 'The Botanist & The Archaeologist''. 🙏
