I spent three evenings trying to get ONE sample working with Midas engine in DOS. Fast Tracker just plays everything so much better :) It's not perfect even now, but 80% there, which is enough.

Just an old song I recorded in September 1999. The music was made in #FastTracker and I later dubbed the vocals with an illegal copy of Samplitude. The drum samples were from a Roland sample CD I think. I still have the original stems and XM. Maybe I should redo it sometimes, it's got this sweet dreamy, triphoppy vibe to it.

It's about an event that occurred in I think 1990, when I was 16.

PtvPack is a packer for Noise-/Pro- and Fasttracker modules ("mods"), which is aimed at Vampire-based systems: Up to twelve channels with up to five octaves are supported. The packer is available as a command line tool for Windows and AmigaOS and there is also a playback routine provided as m68k assembler sourcecode.

@BGOllie Love the ProTracker doubling as financial software!

I can raise the bar with this actual financial software for technical chart analysis that I wrote in the late 1990s using my demo/game routines. (That's what I had and knew back then.)

And of course, the programm has a version of the fasttracker II UI in my favourite colour scheme.

It still has an active user count of 2 (two), some 25 years later.
