4/ Interessant fand ich, dass die Polizisten geholfen haben, die Herzchen zu befestigen. Die Maschen des Sicherheitszaunes waren so eng, dass man da mit den Fingern nicht dazwischen kam und also auch schlecht mit den Fäden durchkam.

Die Aktivist*innen haben mir erzählt, dass es ihnen bei früheren Aktionen gelungen ist, auf das Gelände mit den Atomwaffen zu gelangen. Das war dann lustig, weil die Polizei sie erst mal finden musste, denn die durften da natürlich nicht sein.

So viel zum Thema Sicherheit von Atomwaffen. Im damaligen Fall waren die Lieben auf das Gelände vorgedrungen, nicht auszudenken, was sonst noch alles passieren kann.

Ich möchte weder #Atomkraftwerke noch #Atombomben. Weder kleine noch große.

Absolutely. With hindsight, the 80s was a very strange and quite terrifying time to be growing up. The #IronCurtain splitting Europe in two, frequent footage of #CheckpointCharlie and nuclear missile launchers on tv news. On the outside of the local municipal swimming pool(!), a sign showing #fallout circles rippling out from #Faslane, to remind you just how dead you would be if/when it was targeted. ☢️

On the other hand, we got #99LuftBallons… 🥰
