  1. #Gena and #FakeNews on toxic social media platforms attempting (and pehaps succeding) in driving the narrative to suit her inflated ego and misguided social conscience. Is the electorate gullible enough? Naive enough? Scary questions if you ask me.

  2. “The new supporters flocking to One Nation are not so much attracted to the policies but the emotion – and especially the chance to punish the major parties for their inaction in the past few decades, but particularly the past five or so years.

#AmyRemeikis Truth to Power once again. Nothing Amy talks about shocks me or anyone else having a second look at our current curcumstances, but she bring clarity to what I think is the public mood of the day. We’re not just angry about our major political parties’ drift to the right and lack of gumption, we’re also disheartened that we’re in ‘more of the same’ circumstances, nothing is moving forward. Successive govts have been about as progressive as an extinct dodo. Political change is all just a hopeless shift to the same #neoliberal nonsense that keeps us all in the same quagmire, up to our necks in the swamp with seemingly no way out of it.

Major parties, PHON and IND (I’m of two mind about the Greens — wishful thinking?) are political minnows content to make ripples in puddles when what we really need is a tsunami in the lake.
