The ad calls #GOP donor #PaulSinger a "#farleft #trans #activist #billionaire" supporting Gallrein to bring "trans madness" to #Kentucky. The ad doesn't mention #Israel and seemingly uses the Star of David to signal #Singer's Jewish background as another bad thing about him."

Post by @anon_opin View on Mastodon Private companies that sign contracts to deliver public services and then fail to do so should never be allowed to pay dividends to shareholders. A shareholder is a company owner. A company owner who takes public money, doesn't deliver, but takes profit, should be prosecuted. -

"Western governments must combat “antifa and far-left terrorism,” Ms. Jacobsen’s prepared remarks asserted, casting the effort as an evolution in counterterrorism following the “global war on terror.” Her prepared speech defined far-left terrorism to include threats from communists, Marxists, anarchists, anticapitalists and those with “eco-extremist” and “other self-identified antifascist ideologies.”
“It is important to recognize their actions as political terrorism rather than mere protest or criminality,” said her prepared remarks, though it was unclear if she delivered them exactly as written. As evidence, the speech pointed to left-wing protesters who had recently clashed with the police in Italy.
Ms. Jacobsen’s appeals were part of a sweeping new effort by the White House to press foreign governments and embassies abroad to join its fight against what it calls far-left terrorists. The Trump administration is deploying its global counterterrorism machine against far-left movements like antifa — shorthand for “antifascist” — despite offering little evidence they present a dire threat to U.S. citizens.

#Republicans & #MAGA have a trope that any Democrat they don't like is #FarLeft. But these #Democrats are never "far" & barely "left". The majority of Democrats in office are #CenterLeft, & haven't changed their platform in decades. It's the #GOP that keep moving further to the right. They have gone past conservative, past ultra-conservative, & ended up either completely wack-a-doodle or just downright fascist. The center seems "far-left" to #fascists.

over-simplistic - our 2 parties (3 in #scotland) are in fact themselves coalitions - you only need to look at the visceral hatred the #farLeft express toward the #labourLeader to see that - and quite what #DominicGrieve ever had in common with #SuellaBraverman escapes me totally.
There are actually just 2 political systems in the world - multi-view democracy, and #dictatorship by an absolute power
