Fantastic Four is a good _looking_ movie, but there is very little chemistry between the cast, and it all feels generic and stilted. There doesn't seem to be much of an overall message other than "Family work together"

Nope, sorry, did not work for me. If this was a 90s superhero movie, then I'd be able to look past the plot holes and weird pacing and nonsensical fights. (Even then, the birth scene would stay just as ridiculous.)
I _know_ that Marvel can do compelling villains. Thanos was one. But Galactus just isn't menacing, not one bit.
The visuals and music are great though.

Also zwischen #fantastic4 und #superman war ersterer vermutlich der bessere Film... ABER ich hatte mehr Spaß mit letzterem. Fand Pedro Pascal wider Erwarten nicht kacke als Reed und den restlichen Cast fand ich auch gut, wobei mir Johnny ein *bisschen* zu ernst war und Ben leider nicht genug Screentime hatte :/

So. I saw the new Fantastic Four.
Honestly, not bad, but not exactly a classic (as a movie or as a Marvel movie). About Ms Marvel level - a smidge more generic but also more charming.
Back to basics, a bit by numbers (in a general sense, not MCU-by-numbers as such, but breezy and fun.
I guess overall I enjoyed it and liked it even though I've more negatives to note than positives?

Questa non è una recensione (ce ne sono tante) ma un omaggio. Ad una arena estiva che vende i biglietti a 6 euro e i cui proprietari guadagnerebbero 10 volte tanto se trasformassero lo spazio in parcheggio. Il primo #film che vidi (con mia nonna) fu qui a inizio anni 70 e questo, con un'ambientazione che mi ha ricordato i Jetsons, mi ha riportato a quegli anni e agli Albi del Corno. Complimenti al casting perché ha scelto attori/attrici a cui io non avrei pensato @spettacoli

Sooo, ich hab eben "Fantastic Four" geguckt und ich kann sagen, dass ich ihn sehr sympathisch finde.🙂
Der Film hat einen recht positiven, freundlichen und bodenständigen Stil, ohne endlose pseudo-coole Oneliner.
Mir gefällt auch der 60er-Jahre-Look sehr.
Gute Schauspieler, gute Action und Effekte, solide Story. Nicht ganz so cool wie "Superman", aber trotzdem ziemlich cool.

Fantastic 4 explains MAGA.
I don't mean that as a criticism of the movie. It is perfectly fine, enjoyable, etc. I mean that, literally, it depicts the greatness MAGA yearns for.
It is the start of the American Century where unelected superhero Eleanor Roosevelt and her husband, through sheer manifestation of their greatness (mainly by being media personalities), steer the entire world to prosperity. And everyone is better off by just accepting their unchecked judgement.

Saw #Fantastic4 First Steps last night. Only Marvel I've looked forward to for quite a while.
Interestingly, my qualms with it ended up being exactly what I thought they'd be, and they got very close to annoying me more than the good stuff, which shone through.
