¿Sabían que la creación de Los Cuatro Fantásticos en 1961 fue una respuesta directa de Marvel Comics al éxito de la Liga de la Justicia de DC Comics? 🚀
Tras observar que la competencia obtenía excelentes resultados con un equipo de superhéroes, el editor Martin Goodman le pidió a Stan Lee que desarrollara un grupo similar. Lee, quien estaba a punto de retirarse de la industria por insatisfacción profesional, decidió junto al dibujante Jack Kirby crear personajes que rompieran el molde tradicional: en lugar de héroes perfectos e infalibles, presentaron a una familia con problemas reales, discusiones internas y sin identidades secretas. ✍️
En el primer número de Fantastic Four, publicado en noviembre de 1961, el equipo ni siquiera utilizaba sus icónicos uniformes azules; estos no aparecieron hasta el tercer ejemplar de la serie. Este enfoque más humano y cercano a los lectores no solo salvó la carrera de Stan Lee, sino que sentó las bases para el nacimiento del Universo Marvel moderno, permitiendo la posterior creación de personajes como Spider-Man y los X-Men. Además, la serie sirvió como plataforma de lanzamiento para elementos fundamentales de la editorial, como la primera aparición de Pantera Negra en el número 52 de 1966. 🦁

Fantastic Four is a good _looking_ movie, but there is very little chemistry between the cast, and it all feels generic and stilted. There doesn't seem to be much of an overall message other than "Family work together"

Just finished the new #Fantastic4 movie and it's pretty great. Everyone puts in a great performance, they do a good job of making it feel like an established worlds, Galactus and the Silver Surfer both look awesome…
But Jesus Christ, Hollywood, could you please never, ever make another creepy-ass CGI baby?
Movie's great, solid 4 out of 5, baby is an occasional horror nightmare fuel uncanny valley beast.

Nope, sorry, did not work for me. If this was a 90s superhero movie, then I'd be able to look past the plot holes and weird pacing and nonsensical fights. (Even then, the birth scene would stay just as ridiculous.)
I _know_ that Marvel can do compelling villains. Thanos was one. But Galactus just isn't menacing, not one bit.
The visuals and music are great though.
