My first song published. It's a homage and tribute to The Amazing Digital Circus. I think its such a good show.
https://youtu.be/YNnjMbDQb_k?is=IdIaRuVl3BryY7hL
The whole concept of abstraction and its link to mental health and inner demons was something I wanted to capture and express.
If you haven't watched the series yet, I do encourage you to do so.

Back when I was a musician and doing a lot of folk music events a few of us thought it would be funny if a dalek, a cyberman, and a mechanoid tried to record Danny Boy together. And since I'd just built a custom effects box that had everything you'd need to find out, well
guess what I got reminded of last week
so I dug it out and now you can "enjoy" Cyborgs Behaving Badly (Danny Boy), the from-behind-the-mixing-desk remix
i either recommend for or strongly against headphones, depends upon how much you (dis)like your eardrums and/or housemates xD

i was not able to finish my (ambitious) (interestingly dissonant) countermelody for the Knights of Guinivere waltz theme today (the first half is great, but the second half isn't really where I want it to be)
However, I was able to get a usable, clean rough draft of a musical-concept piece for To The Stars in which Tomoe Mami takes command of a starship.
(... did i mention i'm a total nerrrrrd)

WARSAW [Breakcore Fusion Cover] [ROUGH DRAFT]
(original song by PilotRedSun / PilotRedSky) -
It's easy to ridicule musicians like me who can spend several days on one piece of music, and who do everything short of recording with hardware. That's sooo totally old-timey. The norm has been to use a laptop with a DAW and a few virtual instruments and put together an absolute banger track within one afternoon.
By 2025, it'll be those who'll be ridiculed. And the norm would be to use AI to render a professional-grade, 74-minute album in any genre imaginable within less than these 74 minutes. Including vocals.
At some point in the second half of the 2020s, there'll be a fandom with much more fan music than the bronydom, and next to all of it will be fully AI-rendered. Those who still make their music "by hand" in some way will be outcasts.
Either that, or those who make music the 2010s way with not much more than a DAW will get caught between those who use AIs and those who actually still play instruments and maybe even sing themselves. Unlike all the others, the latter will be able to perform their music live on stage.

i played with Who Will Know to fit a soundtrack vibe. blaming brainrot on that one.
electric guitar sounds messier than i like but it's thematically important to the scene it fits in my fucking brain.
i like eighth note triplets.
