It's a modern AU volokari fic where everything is terrible and their relationship is mutually destructive, but at least they have each other. It's a sad fic that deals with some heavy topics, but it is so beautifully written, and it absolutely destroyed me when I first read it. Definitely check it out (but please mind the tags).
This author has so many amazing volokari fics and his range is insane. From wholesome to incredibly fucked up, he can do it all and he does it so well!! I highly recommend his fics for any volokari fans out there (especially if you like the more fucked up flavors of the ship).
I liked this fic so much that I drew fanart for it.

definitely a shitposter and a thought dumper (ya'know, headcanons & meta). i'm also a writer, sometimes artist, and an archiver. newer role for me is event organizer, and im so happy i decided to do this 4 years ago! it's a lot of work, but i love the people i get to meet in the process6. I HAVE TO REC THE "CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE GENITALS EDITION" SMILING FRIENDS FIC @angelfeast WROTE FOR MEEE!!!it's so so so good, & i love how awk charlie + allan are together during the work party hookup. they do such a good job capturing charlie's embarassment about having a gay crush". and they establish so much silly world building with the character's physical descriptions (like allan having a retractable penis that whacks charlie in the face). PLEASE READ IT!!!
