With all the banks in my area closing their safety deposit box services due to (checks notes) not wanting to be responsible when their employees steal the kinds of things people put in their safety deposit boxes, I need to get a safe for paperwork that needs to be safe: citizenship certificate, house deed, etc. There's a lot, actually.

I'd be interested to know how comfortable other #FamiChiki members are with speaking, reading, and writing #Japanese. If you know more or less what your #JLPT level is (or would be if you took the exam), answer the poll. Please elaborate in the comments. I'm particularly interested in how comfortable you are with writing Japanese (with a keyboard). BTW, I've been a professional translator for 35 years, but have never taken the JLPT. 30+ years ago, a Japanese prof a Columbia U. told me I was N1.
