( #fallingSkies ): I've seen worse endings. Lotta bullshit. But not a cliffhanger.
I can't recommend this honestly. It's pretty good up until the 4th season. Then it started to suffer from... Something. Walking dead itis.
That said, every season is only 10 or 12 episodes so hey, you do you.
Ah well.
Not sure what I'm watching next. I have a mind to watch The Closer even though it's firmly copaganda. I have a soft spot for Kyra Sedgwick, Sue me. :blobcat_blush:
Other possibilities are the 100, the roswell remake, and maybe even Stargate SG1 rewatch # 231. Or something else! Who knows. Break out DA WHEEL if nothing grabs me.
Oh! The Orville maybe.

The Walking Dead.
This feels like someone pivoted the show towards being like The Walking Dead.
Skitters turned into zombies.
People driven to the breaking point.
Etc.
Which tells me there was probably some TNT or lower executive meddling, but I can't be sure.

This reminds me how good a lot of modern shows, especially streaming shows, just don’t attempt proper character development at all, instead just morphing the characters into whatever is needed for the situation.
Not that #Loki does character development poorly, but a singular episode of #FallingSkies has more successful and natural character development than the entirety of #Loki S01 (the character development in #Loki S02 was a lot better)

Yeah…And frankly that’s all I need for #PLEX, specifically.
In general I like #MKV better but for now I’m going with #MP4 because I’m running my #PLEX off an #RPi rn, so it doesn’t have the horsepower to do the proper conversions. So whether or not a video will play is entirely based on the codecs found from the discs…making it wildly unpredictable. Sometimes whether or not a video will play is even based on platform and device. Which makes sense, it’s just annoying that, for example, not everything comes with #MPEG2 compatibility, or that the complete series #BluRay collection of #FallingSkies uses a super rare codec that pretty much nobody uses anymore

@design_RG They're missing very little of what I like, but as time goes on it actually gets harder.
Before college (1.5 years ago) there was only one thing missing, my favorite show at the time, #FallingSkies, which was on #AmazonPrime. Now many #CartoonNetwork shows are showing no signs of heading over to #Hulu.
What is more disconcerting is I cannot get DVDs of some of the shows I really want to own, like the #CartoonNetwork shows #InfinityTrain and #MaoMao, and #ASeriesOfUnfortunateEvents.
