The end of the Fallen Gods trilogy got me crying, which was unexpected as the third book was definitely not the best in the series.
Not one I'll be getting into my own shelf, but definitely one I'd recommend to the fantasy fans of Fediverse! Also another one I'd love to discuss with someone... like what's up with the adult relationships?

I don't remember if I mentioned it here, but I started the Fallen Gods trilogy by Hannah Kaner last year and am now almost through with the second book. It's so nice to be excited about fantasy after such a long time!
Some parts make me feel like the author is still really young, but mostly the story feels refreshing while still being quite traditional high fantasy. There's a lot of diversity in the characters and the world and the themes are interesting without being too much in your face. I just got into a plot twist that I absolutely did not see coming and I love it when a book does that! 🤩
This might be another one I need to get into my own shelf for a future reread. Love that for me. 😌

#Sunbringer Teil 2 der #FallenGods Reihe von Hannah Kaner einfach ganz großes Kino. #Monstress trifft auf The #Witcher und der zweite Teil der Reihe dreht gut auf für das Finale im dritten Band. Sehr gut war auch, wie die Erzählung aus Perspektiven der einzelnen Charaktere die Geschichte zu gleicher Zeit an verschiedenen Orten vorantrieb und Spannung aufbaute. Normalerweise nerven mich so lange Kamerawechsel, aber hier sind sie sehr flott und kurz gehalten.
