Now my stomach burns. I’m lying under the same tree… but I won’t wake up. 💔

This deer didn’t die from hunters or cars — but from **fermented apples** left on the ground.

**What rotten fruit does:**
🍎 Fermentation = alcohol (deer can’t process it)
🦠 Mold = liver and kidney failure

You sometimes see folks in Davis gleaning olives, but unfortunately a terrible amount of bounty goes to waste on the ground.
