North Carolina Symphony Fall 2026 Schedule: Key Shows and Events in Raleigh

The North Carolina Symphony is preparing for a packed fall 2026 season featuring classical masterworks, legendary rock music, blockbuster film scores, family concerts and holiday traditions.

Most Raleigh performances will take place at Meymandi Concert Hall inside the Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts. The season opens in September and continues through December with appearances by acclaimed conductors, guest musicians, vocalists and the North Carolina Master Chorale.

Individual tickets go on sale to the public Monday, August 10, 2026, at 10 a.m.

September 2026 NC Symphony Concerts

Opening Weekend: Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No. 3

• Friday, September 18 at 8 p.m.
• Saturday, September 19 at 8 p.m.

Music Director Carlos Miguel Prieto opens the Raleigh season with pianist Boris Giltburg.

The program includes Debussy’s Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun, Rachmaninoff’s challenging Piano Concerto No. 3 and the 1947 version of Stravinsky’s Petrouchka.
