Related to my post a day or two ago that #facebook #marketplace has supplanted #Craigslist as the place to buy/sell things, it has, unfortunately. become quite the cesspool wrt scams. This one is pretty common (referred to as the 'fake check' scam).

This particularly listing has had 2 fake check scam attempts, and one legit person. I'm willing to wade through them (they're sort of entertaining, I guess), but woe to the person who goes in unprepared.
