Ich habe einen account bei einer deutschen kommerziellen werbefinanzierten webcommunity. Dort habe ich am 1. Mai eine #phishing Nachricht erhalten und sofort über das meldesystem gemeldet. Gestern habe ich die Nachricht erhalten, dass der account gesperrt wurde und die phishing Nachricht an mich gelöscht. Die Firma rühmt sich #Fakeaccounts wirksam zu unterbinden und verwendet eine Verifizierungsmethode, die mE die Anlage von Fakeaccounts deutlich erschwert. -

Is it only me or am I seeing the start of more fake accounts on Mastodon? Usual culprits, military, no real bio etc and they send private messages. (I do report them).

Hundreds of X accounts have just been activated with two things in common:
- they all follow Netanyahu
- they display a banner of the protests in Iran
These accounts will almost certainly be used to spread Israeli propaganda in the event of a war against Iran.They share, like and comment on each other creating fake engagements just like the 2008 uprising, but much more obvious and openly supporting Israel

Mir ist es unbegreiflich, warum #FakeProfile trotz Meldung wochenlang stehenbleiben und ich zahlreiche Nachfragen bekomme, ob ich inzwischen Finanzprodukte verticke. Die #TechKonzerne haben hier eine #Verantwortung zu übernehmen – oder der Gesetzgeber muss ran.
