@jordinn It's a walled garden and despite all it's #greenwashing, #Apple never cared for #sustainability (e.g. batteries soldered into devices). And #privacy with a #megacorp that scans your pics?

Google of course is even worse. Therefore: #Fairphone running #FairphoneOpenOS or #LineageOS.

#Teracube's an option, too. It's a bit cheaper and also supports #Lineage, but Fairphone has a longer track record, more transparency and the overall better product from my experience.

Installation went sooo very smooothly, and everything seems to work fine and without any regression so far. Hey #Fairphone dudes, dudettes & duderinos:

@vega @Fairphone I'm not too fond of EOS, since #microG means that it isn't really #degoogled.

But I've now been running my #Fairphone2 on #FairphoneOpenOS for about a week or so on the latest update 10.22.08-rel.0 and the problem has gone away. Battery life has also improved.

So here's some big kudos to the #Fairphone developers! Keep the good stuff comin'! 👍👍👍

How is progress on #Australia going? It doesn't seem like there are any ethical stockists here. One of the trendy major retailers is even serving their website through sordid Cloudflare! Yikes!

How is #FairphoneOpenOS going for your latest phone. Are there plans to revive the smaller #Fairphone2 design?

We dreamt someone #hacked our phone via #Log4J, with a message saying "We are removing all #GoogleGarbage".

The phone got so hot we threw it in the air but it flew out the #bus window. The driver stopped to retrieve the phone telling everyone to stay on the bus.

The phone teeters on part of a waterfall grate? The driver tries to retrieve it with a large stick., but a gust of wind sent it down on watered rocks below.

TL/DR: The #hacker installed #FairphoneOpenOS.

I am absolutely convinced that the #fairphone is the the best smartphone I've ever had.
Currently, I am using it on #FairphoneOpenOS and with #fdroid, it works perfectly for me. Never had any issues with it. 😃

Hola @yankritt puedes ver a #replicant, #lineageos, en mi avisto mejor que #sailfishos que esta parcialmente open source. Tengo un #fairphone2 con #fairphoneopenos...

@sebsauvage @Dio94 merci pour les infos. J'avais déjà la version fdroid, mais sur mon Fairphone 2 Open OS, non seulement ça ramait et chauffait mais la recherche des rues était à la rue. Viens d'installer la version Osmand+, hoouu mais ça à l'air tout bien tout gentil, et ça maaarche !
En plus trop bien les indications des dénivelés sur tout le trajet :-)
