British economist and former Citi trader Gary Stevenson warns that Australia is losing its "fair go" ethos due to a worsening housing crisis and widening wealth gap. During an Australian speaking tour, he told the ABC that governments worldwide are failing to seriously tackle inequality. Stevenson advocates for higher wages, improved housing affordability, and tax reforms that take more from the wealthy to boost living standards for low and middle-income households. He warns that without action, Australia will face the same decline in public services and rise in poverty seen in the UK and Europe. Despite his large YouTube following, Political leaders, trapped in "bubbles," are resistant to changing the economic status quo.

The #AncientGreeks worked out how to compel their equivalent of today's #billionaires to pay their fair share in #tax.
When they don't, we all suffer.
Its reportedly called #antidosis (in english, #exchange) and it involves the #billionaireClass competing to pay the most tax they can, lest an #organicSwap/ exchange may occur.

We never condone violence, here. Yes, the limits are being imposed by govt.
When #DickSmith started this very #FairGo movement in August 2017, he launched it saying that there will be #pitchforks and clashes on the streets.
If our page is still up on #Fakebook you'll see the cover image in 2017 that we posted.
DICK SMITH CHOSE that violent artist depiction as a prediction and a warning.
The media ridiculed him summarily. He was correct, they being corrupted are wrong.

If a #billionaire doesn't pay at least 50% in tax, but #laundersIdentity through #philanthropy, they should go into a database. At random one (or 2%) of these #billionaires will have to pay 70% of their yearly #revenue in that country in tax or be #brokenUtp.Our namesake, #DickSmith, as part of his #FairGo movement wanted the #extremelyWealthy to pay they way.
He called for more #transparency on tax returns – to shame those #greedy, wealthy few.

Another very interesting tidbit.After we publish the (#)FediverseIcon and (#)FediFlyer on (#)Wikimedia Commons/(#)Wikipedia they, continually blocked us and kept shifting the goalposts until they had deleted our content completely from the site.
Funny how #Google and other corporateGiants can show their works on Wikimedia but not a "#DickSmith #FairGo Supporters" page.
Thankfully at least one good soul, who we haven't forgotten about, is hosting the flyer.

We are a #grassroots, supporters group for #DickSmith's #FairGo, who believe we can get a FairGo when #corporations end #environmental and worker abuses.
We have reason to believe #WikimediaCommons is an arm of the #militaryIndustrialComplex, laundering #militarism and #colonialViolence abroad. They offer some photos and media as #freeLicense while shmoozing with the locals and gathering #intelligence.
We realise that that is a big statement, but we now believe it to be true.
