2/2 I was happier about the 66 Parallel Trail than I had expected, especially the fact that it dramatically improves regional bike connectivity to the DC Metro system #bikeVA
-though much of the trail is exposed, some parts will be nice in summer
-Blue Ridge Mountains are visible near the Centreville end of the trail
-the trail accesses a new park & ride with a bike cage that is currently under construction
-overlooking the trail’s east end in Dunn Loring

-at the current west end in Centreville
-my filming setup: double clamp to hold my selfie stick is easier & lighter than carrying a regular tripod

-the future Random Hills Park connector will replace a short dirt trail through a forest
