LG just displayed an ad for some asinine promotion, straight to my TV. There was no permission involved, there are no settings to turn these banners off, and there is no buffer that gives me control - like email filters or call-screening.
We have given corporations direct access to our personal lives. Modern for-profit tech is a failure on so many levels.
We MUST take back our private time and spaces.
