En semana santa dirijo varias #one-shot en las jornadas #NetCon 2026 y entre ellas, precisamente, "El juego de Keiko". Es una aventura que no me canso de dirigir, porque siempre me da resultados diferentes con cada nuevo grupo de jugadores ^^
También dirigiré una aventura de #RedPills basada en uno de sus microescenarios: "Insert Coin" (muy al estilo de "Ready Player One") y, como no todo iba a ser Zodiac 2.5, también dirigiré una aventura de #FabulaUltima ambientada en el mundo de "Los cielos sobre Rocèt", una campaña que llevo años dirigiendo a diferentes grupos.

Tonight in #FabulaUltima! The new Saturday night game goes through Session Zero, creating a new previously-unknown region of Aspyras, frought with political tension—the country that hates all use of magic and the country that hates all use of technology are at odds, but have to go around the neutral merchant country in between if they actually want to fight. Meanwhile, a mysterious cult works to destroy the world AGAIN, and seems to be succeeding as the oceans have begun to rise and a serpentine creature roams the seas destroying all ships unfortunate enough to cross its path.

Tonight in #FabulaUltima... our group tries Fabula Ultima! XD Specifically, my slightly-tweaked version of the "Press Start" intro adventure. The heroes investigate the mysterious and dangerous Crater of Megido, only to find one hero's former mentor having sided with the evil empire, in a desperate bid to use their magitech to return her brother from the dead. Angst! Ennui! A lot of trying to figure out why Forge wasn't working as expected! Folks seemed to enjoy it, tho, so we're going to give an actual campaign a go... probably after the holidays. XD

The Ghostlight game is inching their way towards endgame and we’ve started talking about what to do next. We’re going to try switching from #PF2E to #FabulaUltima, but I gotta admit I got warm fuzzies when they said they wanted the next campaign to continue in the same homebrew world, regardless of system. ^.^

Been thinking about writing a small "Post-Apocalypse Fantasy" or "Science Fantasy" playbook for Fabula Ultima.
Recently revisited the old Phantasy Star series, played through Earthborne Rangers, and (finally) got caught up on Adventure Time, and it's got me thinking about some of the vibes their stories share, that could make for neat tones/settings for a Tabletop campaign.
Hopeful futures, set well after what seemed like the end of everything. Fantastic worlds that bear scars of a disaster, and echoes of the world that was. Fungal jungles and giant bugs, picked-over ancient technologies bent to new purposes, magic and sci fi coexisting... that sorta thing.

-The fear economy/GM moves feel a touch stilted initially, like it’s a bit formal for my tastes, but it doesn’t read like a dealbreaker so much as some rules I’ll probably start relaxing on once I get used enough to the system to forget half of the rules and still feel like I’ve got a functional game going.

Viel mehr als ich gedacht hätte, es gibt Abenteuern in bekannten Ländern eine andere Athmosphäre und durch Boss-Gegner Fähigkeiten einen anderen Spin als Kampagne. Grob bietet #FabulaUltima drei Setting-Richtungen: #HighFantasy - für #ProjektMyra nutzbar für Länder mit Kulturpräferenz Magie 5+ - NatureFantasy für Settings wie #Mononoke, #Margreve oder den Wald von Mannar - TechnoFantasy (Myra: bei Technik 7, nicht auf #Karcanon, auf Golarion Numeria oder #Alkenstern). Die Pistole bei den Waffen (S.130) und die Bastler-Klasse (S.182) geht nur für letzteres. Viel der 362 Seiten & der Mechaniken dient der Spiel-Athmosphäre.

I'm in Cancún this week, but still ran my #fabulaultima live-text game last night. I went in with some notes about needing to bring everyone together. I thought "met at a tavern? Hmmm." Got to the game table and thought very quickly that they need a reason why all of them are taking a day off from work at the same time.And thus, the Gramberry Festival was born.
