At the #fab26 event in Bottrop, we worked on the Powercore https://rackrobo.io/products/powercore-v3 (EDM / Electrical Discharge Machining, ). Everything is open-source and documented, so we could start from scratch. Sourced at JLCPCB, digikey. At @waag, we started milling on a block of aluminum. We learned a lot! (Documentation to follow!). We documented our trial and errors. We are not there yet! And in need for 48V/9A!

The #FabLib #KiCad library experienced a facelift and now is an official KiCad addon!

FabLib makes it easy to produce PCBs at a standard #FabLab. There are more than 2k Fab Labs in the world and many of them will have #electronics components from the official Fab Inventory. The goal is 1:1 mapping with the parts from the Inventory which reduces friction when learning electronics and boosts confidence when prototyping rapidly at a Fab Lab.
