For #BlackHistoryMonth, I'm introducing African deities in my daily god toots. The #Ezili or #Erzuli are a pantheon of feminine spirits in #HaitianVodou that are associated with femininity and erotic love. Vodou is a syncretistic religion assimilating traditions of West and Central Africa and Roman Catholicism. The Ezili are identified with Mary, Mother of Christ, and #Oshun, the #Yoruba #Orisha of love and feminity.
