End of the Year Drama Challenge
Day 24: Favorite costumes of 2023?I'm not a fan of the super oversized look, so I was thrilled to see the costumes in "My Demon" - the design, the colors & the coordination between the characters is gorgeous. I still can't believe pink checks can be a power suit - but they made it look great.
Honorable mention goes to "The Story of Park's Marriage Contract" because the current hanbok fashions with that beautiful embroidery are just amazing.
Also to "The Matchmakers" - love Rowoon's pinks & lilac, super long-sleeved silk robes & the FLs colorful hanboks are stunning.

However, the first one of the year and the one I want to rewatch over the holidays is #DoomAtYourService. There were SO many hilarious lines and moments in this one. I also enjoyed her a lot in #DailyDoseOfSunshine. I didn't really like Strong Woman Do Bong Soon but her performance was very good.

Day 9: a drama from another year you watched in 2023One of my favorites this year was "Hwarang" from 2016. I intend to rewatch it this month as a holiday gift to myself.
A completely not-serious historical - great comedy - with a root-for-both-sides love triangle and the best bromances (which became real-life bromances)

Day 2: Favourite actress discovered in 2023Although she wasn't in any dramas/movies this year, since I've only begun my kWave journey, I just found her this year.
Jun Ji Hyun is one of the best comedic actresses I've ever seen - right up there with Lucille Ball.
I loved her in "My Love from the Star" & "Legend of the Blue Sea" and now her other works are on my radar.

End of the Year Drama Challenge
Day 1: Since when have you been watching dramas?In autumn of 2022 (Yes, just over a year ago) a friend recommended "Extraordinary Attorney Woo." I loved it and started to watch more on Netflix.
I felt I might be spending too much time on dramas, but fortunately I discovered that many on NF had been dubbed into Portuguese & I am working on learning it. So now it was homework & completely justifiable.
In Dec, I gifted myself a subscription to Viki and found that many weren't dubbed in Portuguese, so then I had to learn Korean. I enrolled in my 1st Korean class in Jan. I have watched a couple of #cDrama shows & 1 #jDrama show, but I pretty much limit myself to #kDrama so that I can learn the language.
