@wildarchaic Yep, I'm familiar with all of those authors/researchers, which probably isn't surprising given our discussion topic.🤣 Based on everything I've learned with regard to #neuroscience, I'd agree with Brian Little that #personality traits are dynamic. Of course, it's possible for #introverts to temporarily shift into #extroversion to accommodate #extroverts. There IS an energy cost to it, but it's possible. It's telling that extroverts rarely do as much work in the other direction.😂

added a new entry to the [[Bookcase]], Susan Cain's survey of research into #introversion #extroversion. As someone with high-sensitivity, this book gave validation & insight into different 🧠 mechanisms. I particularly like the concept of restorative niche. Not my favorite style of writing though, a bit fluffy.
