Наконец руки добрались до снятия показаний дома с ИБП. Теперь можно будет видеть, как часто реально отрубают электричество, а когда оно под 250 прыгает.

Одно только не могу понять, нафиг ИБП на батарейку гонит 15,5В? Не удивительно, что через год-два менять приходится.

Ich finde dazu nichts in der Hilfe und die Settings, die mir Mistral ausgibt funktionieren nicht.
Meine Notizen habe ich mit der App #exporter extrahiert. Hat bis auf eingebettete PDFs ganz ok funktioniert.
Ich brauche aber den Sync von mac zu iPhone usw.

Сайт работает, 500-ых нет – но заказы с сайта не поступают. Бизнес теряет деньги, а разработчики даже не подозревают что что-то идет не так. Меня зовут Михаил, я из команды Backend разработки D'Terra. Мы прошли через это и поняли: только system-based метрик недостаточно. Нам нужны бизнес метрики в дашбордах, что бы реагировать на такие инциденты. Поэтому я настроили Prometheus под Bitrix так, чтобы на одном дашборде видеть и «железо», и бизнес-часть сайта.

If you're looking for a #Prometheus #Exporter with total system power consumption of your #MacMini or recent #AppleSilicon hardware-without-a-battery you're looking for this Rust project.

It uses SMC value "PSTR" (with little documentation except this one) in an intelligent way: by sampling the value often and accumulating a counter value based on energy (1 Joule = 1 Watt per second = 1/3600 Wh) so that the value is the best approximation even if scraped rarely.

Most other project either use the battery metrics (which don't work when plugged in) or powermetrics which only account for about 30%-40% of the total power consumption.

PS: I'm not really an Apple fan myself, quite the contrary, but I wanted to experiment with self-histed #LLM and nowadays a MacMini is overwhelmingly superior to any other low-cost option when considering performance/Watt.

Some lessons learned:
- Some resolvers are actually verifying DNSSEC, which is extremely good.
- I need better monitoring of my DNS records. This wasn't the first incident this year.

Does anyone have a good #prometheus #exporter for #dnssec? Or should I just roll my own?

I made a Prometheus exporter for my Emporia Vue Utility Connect and now I have graphs for net usage and consumption in addition to solar production from my Enphase exporter.

Unlike with Enphase, the API is cloud based (booo!) and more discrete, so some data massaging is needed to align the graphs (45s shift in my case).
