I always thought the song "Ah Leah" was about Perseus Kambatta in #StarTrek : The Motion Picture.

I'm renting a spare room from friends, so I'm also living off one circuit breaker.

Fans are probably fine. Just never try to run the kettle, microwave, coffee maker, or a laser printer at the same time. Space heaters and electric blankets might be troublesome in winter. #experienced

I just finished some #proposals yesterday. Last week I submitted a #paper. When I was a #student I worried about acceptance after submission. Now, instead of worrying, I feel relieved and excited to move on to other #projects.

Why the change?
* I'm more #experienced now.
* I saw the #work through, giving a sense of accomplishment.
* My projects are diversified, sustaining my work.

I mention this for any struggling #PhDStudent. It gets better.
