  1. #NoteToSelf ✏️

I discovered, from my own experience in the commons in the past and by writing them down, what I now call and will elaborate for #SX: The #Paradox of #Emergence.

#ParadoxOfEmergence. A deep insight. I should take some time to elaborate its relation to the commons and how our individual work relates to the larger whole. And why we forget about that relation if we "play our own game" autonomously and try to aggregate value to affect big change. It also relates to #ExpectationManagement again: Who are the other players?

  7. Markets are calm on the surface, but this equilibrium is built on fragile trust. Earnings season so far has rewarded companies delivering clarity and punished those offering ambiguity.

With geopolitical uncertainties still evolving—from China’s Fourth Plenum to U.S. policy debates—volatility sits just beneath the surface.

  19. (If you think this is about you personally: No it very much is not!)

The most important thing when interacting with me is probably #ExpectationManagement: I want to know what I’m at and if I don’t it can make me feel miserable. I can handle a “no”, make use of that and don’t tell me something that isn’t true.

In line with that: If you cannot keep a promise, I will always be disappointed. Depending on your reasoning I may be understanding, but the reasons better be very good. Otherwise this isn’t functionally much better than lying.

Furthermore: A “maybe” is not a “no”. If it’s unlikely say “probably not” instead or be very clear on what the conditions are.

If you still have to figure out “when”, then that implies that it will happen at some point. Same as above, don’t disappoint me in that case.

  27. ℹ️ WORK IN PROGRESS, FYI

This feels alright. Obsidian would need to "entitle" AfO to cut down more running time, and even then it is impossible to hide Obsidian during the workflow due to the type of API offered by Obsidian, and because Actions for Obsidian is a 3rd party implementation. #ExpectationManagement

Next up: implementing the onboarding, then TestFlight.
