Anyone remember Unknown Orbit?
I reviewed thousands of iOS games on TouchArcade way back when, and one of my favorites of all time was Exbleative's Unknown Orbit, which was basically Tiny Wings .. in 3D .. in space. It was awesome.
Last night the Steam store put a game called Exo One in front of me. In the preview, it looked something like Tiny Wings .. in 3D .. in space. It's 70% off in the Steam store for a few days (currently $5), so I gave it a go.
"A strange signal... an alien craft... an interplanetary, gravity-defying journey through space and time."
Long story short, it's from Exbleative and appears to be a massive evolution of Unknown Orbit (for PC and Xbox), set on strange, eerie worlds and with a mysterious storyline to unravel.
Having been such a fan of the earlier iOS title, I am thrilled to have found this and am having a great time exploring this universe.

CW: I finished Exo One. Thoughts in CW.
It's absolutely, stunningly gorgeous. You could take a screenshot of the game at any single moment in the game, print it on a square meter of canvas, frame it and mount it anywhere and it'd look like it absolutely belonged there.
Unfortunately, that's the end of the good points of it for me. -

I just finished the game exo one. That's fantastic.
The experience is really unique, I don't think I have ever encountered a piece of art which made me feel the vastness of te universe that much.
It's terrifyingly stunning.

Hey, #ExoOne is a *really, really* excellent game that I think a lot of y'all would like. It's a super beautiful (and completely non-violent) exploration / navigation puzzle built around an extremely satisfying set of movement mechanic.
