We are to look upon it as more beneficial, that many guilty persons should escape unpunished, than one innocent person should suffer. An Oklahoma inmate has been exonerated by a judge after serving nearly 50 years in prison, the longest time a prisoner has served before being declared innocent, according to The National Registry of Exonerations.
