Laut VGH Hessen gilt das allerdings nicht für #Briefwähler, sondern nur für klassische #Exitpolls. Die Formulierung im #GLKrWG ist leicht anders als im #BWahlG, und hier sind wohl auch ausschließlich Briefwähler befragt worden, aber dass #Briefwahl keine Stimmabgabe ist, sollte dann auch hier gelten. The #Ireland #ExitPoll is out, and it is suggesting that the General Election is too close to call, with all three main parties within a couple percentage points of each other.
If this pans out, this will make the formation of a government even more difficult than in 2020 (and that took several months).
Counting begins tomorrow morning and will go through the weekend.

This exit poll has come as a huge surprise, and a huge relief to many in France and in Europe.
National Rally finished top in a majority of seats. There were questions about whether the withdrawal of Ensemble and NFP candidates would be enough to prevent a majority.
It was, and then some. The question of a government led by National Rally is now all but dead.
