#PlotTwists are necessary because we live inside stories that we don't want to end but there's an innate desire for all stories to have an ending.

A #PlotTwist is a literary record skipping. Each go around is more enlightening than the previous until we go through so many revelations (revolutions) we no longer know if we're the reader, the author, or some distant alien observer.

My story has only two plot twists but they occur, what I mean to say is, recur so often, and lead off into so many different directions, that just when we think we're near to understanding, we are overcome with a frantic and furious case of the hiccups, which has a dumbfounding effect, what I mean to say is we (you and I) can't get there from here.

i am having to do some heavy thinking. the election made me want to tweak the focus of #ExistOtherwise #LitJournal

moving forward, i want to publish more #queer and #trans voices, maybe even only those voices. i also want to emphasize themes of #resistance

but i have a problem. um, in fact, i am the problem. i'm a cis-het white guy

otoh, i feel free to promote the voices of anyone i want to in my little journal
