Als 1992 "Dark Empire" erschien war dort auch das erste Mal das ein neuer Raumjäger vorgestellt wurde der nicht nur mich in seinen Bann zog. Der E-Wing sah elegant aus, hatte einige Dinge die an den X-Wing erinnerten, aber konnte für sich alleine stehen. Er wurde in den Romanen noch ein paar mal erwähnt, war aber dann eher eine Nebensache die nicht wiede
