I'm sorry I've been so quiet - #Perimenopause migraines are getting real fucking boring now. The #ChronicPain in my legs is ramping up because some suits decided that being on Gabapentin long term isn't useful so I'm reducing and my pain is - shocked pikachu face - getting worse. Will need to chat to the GP about what we're going to replace it with because this is unsustainable.
Sorry - grumpy today.
And don't get me fucking STARTED on #Evri 's "next day delivery"...

Strange, just returned home, nothing in letterbox or even left outside door, check photo "proof" driver posted, was them holding parcel inside their *van*. Not exactly proof of delivery, is it?
Find it dumped inside entrance to tenement block, simply thrown behind main street door, abandoned. Not the first time from Evri.

I live in a house and if they had knocked / rung the bell my dogs would have gone off.

EVRI have attempted delivery to the wrong building and then given up.
Every other delivery company manages this, somehow EVRI does not....I suspect something....

I don't think it's unreasonable to expect handlers of a parcel that reads "Fragile" and "Please do not bend me" to take precautions agains the same parcel being ripped and soaked through.

Well... fuck me... the #Evri parcel arrived directly to my slightly non-trivial off-street behind-another-building porch a day earlier than the earliest expected (was supposed to be a 2-3 biz day delivery.)
So my only complaint is I wasn't expecting it so soon and didn't get any notification that I should be expecting it.
I suppose if you have an Evri delivery scheduled it may be worth checking out their current app and configuring the precise delivery location with the map pin, and maybe safe place with up-to-300-word description.

I was really happy with #Evri until this - they were always quick & efficient. But this farce has changed that.
I am avoiding using companies who are using them or I will get anything I need delivered to the store.
Their customer service is woeful.

From speaking to many people this doesn't seem to be teething problems for #Evri in the area that Mallusk (NI) distribution centre serves. In my household alone - two packaged so far - One was delivered in October ordered in August. Another hasn't been delivered at all - 5 weeks at this stage.

In incompetent delivery service news, Evri's dropoff locker location map shows that there are lockers at our local corner shop. There have never been Evri lockers at our local corner shop, and the staff have to keep telling people that. It also means people try to send things to the non-existent lockers, so Evri's staff can fail to deliver them there. I wonder what their next name is going to be. #evri #evrifail

"Evri reported the following about your package: We've not been able to get to your ParcelShop today due to road closures, but you don't need to do anything. We'll attempt delivery on the next working day. Check with Evri for additional details."
I don't know what a parcelshop is but I'm not aware of having one...?
Silly thing is, the original estimate was for delivery on Monday. They didn't have to spend a week lying about it.

My eBay Evri experience has taken a new turn. The seller opened an enquiry at my request on Thursday (September 11th). Evri marked the parcel delivered, today. On September 5th. At 23:59. Unsurprisingly, they are unable to show me the picture the courier took when the parcel was delivered. Because it never has been
Nice to see that #Evri are happy with out and out fraud when their service fails. Might have to have a word with my daughter at a national newspaper to see if they’d think about doing an investigation…

As somebody who uses eBay a lot, the six words I least like to see as an email subject at the moment…
“Your package is now with Evri”
Because right now they are collecting parcels in my area, but not delivering any. At all. I hope eBay monitors this shit show.
They did, of course, used to be called Hermes. Their reputation got so bad that they changed the name. Without fixing any of the systemic issues the organisation clearly had.

So #Evri are NOT very popular in St Austell at the moment. I’m waiting for two parcels that were out on delivery on Wednesday and are still “out for delivery” three days later. Somebody near us has had something out for delivery for nine days now and still waiting. Someone else again has eight parcels, all well overdue.
Nothing in their app to indicate what’s going on. No status updates on the parcels. Just… nothing. Pretty crap TBH.

Evri driver responded to my sign by escalating. Didn't even try to deliver this time - stopped down the road, walked up, threw his piss bottle at the front window, yelled and screamed some more, marked the parcels as "can't find the delivery address", and sped off.
I stayed inside and watched on the cameras, which were of course recording... sigh.
All this from "can you please leave them round the back where they're hidden, mate?"

CW: Nasty Evri courier
Just had a run in with a local #Evri driver. She'd left her car to deliver a parcel but with the engine #idling, creating unnecessary pollution; also illegal given drivers must not leave their vehicles while the engine is running.
All I said was, "you know you've left your engine running?" and off she went. I know, don't engage, but it's so infuriating how antisocial & inconsiderate these people can be. If turning a key is such hard work, how are they competent to drive?
