#evilgoogle do not let me to delete files on my sd card. #evilandroid stole my rights to own my files.

Connected android trough adb, made installed apps list, opened list in browser to make apps disabling much faster: choose app name right click - search if it safe to disable, if is - back to list copy - paste in terminal to disable.

#evilGoogle made a lot of bloatware in #android it took me few hours to disable all "wellbeing" and other offensive shit.

And it's only android13, i'm pretty scared to try something newer.

Test-fly on android with disabled #evilgoogle apps, frameworks and gplay. I still use discord for minecraft, app uninstalled i use web version. For calendar Calendula https://f-droid.org/en/packages/de.jeanlucmakiola.calendula/
dialer and contacts Right dialer and others.
X-plore hit me with warnings, i need alternative.
Browser fennec from fdroid.
Most of other apps still works.
Need to test longer.
To be prepared for googlepocalypse, when they disable all non gplay apps.

So Google plans to lock down Android by only allowing to install apps from their walled garden (Play Store) and prevent installing apps from other sources (aka "sideloading").

If I understand this correctly, @murena already offers apps through their own app store in /e/os.

Does anyone know if they will be able to do this in the future, now that Google is turning completely to the dark side?

#evilGoogle do not let me to completely remove annoying "do not disturb". Every time phone sets sound level to 0 it turns on! Also why they removed separate sound levels for calls and notifications? Are they google?!
Last good #android was gingerbread.

@rq if #evilGoogle was a bit nicer to keybiard developpers - we can see a lot of keyboards on gplay. As that was a thing before: many launchers, many keyboards. Now they all is gone.

Just ask too much from a dev and one day he will stop.

@rq one of the worst things commited by #evilGoogle is making old keyboards obsolete. They push to use their spyware.

#evilGoogle denied call recording on android, so you cannot have a proof against bussinnes or gov. They say "call is recorded" but never give to you recording if it will favor your position.

Google is against you.

Arggh! Google Play Store have started spamming notifications to phones 🤬 They've lumped payment notifications with advertisment notifications so you cant turn them off 🤬

No Google, I don't want ad notifications, I dont want subscription apps or micro transaction apps and I dont want PC games!!!

Right.I don't think of YouTube as my "go to" source of all 'news', authoritative or not. E.g., Twitter!

So, "More authoritative sources", if the source isn't actual facts is going to be the marketing slogan of #evilgoogle (ha!) to be the one-stop news stop. Makes sense, and it seems to be making them dollars, between all the 'alternative' cable & cable-ish ...
