I made a new friend yesterday!
Yesterday was my first time in a year and a half of doing the Singelpark* walk in Leiden, like I used to do a few times a week when I was living here before.
I was eager to see which cats were still around; and if they’d remember me. I didn’t see any of my old friends, but this new cutie came running to me as soon as she and I made eye contact.
Her humans built her a little perch to sit on so she can observe her kingdom in the fresh air. I’m obsessed!

*The Singelpark is a 6.5 km circular park that runs around the historical city centre of Leiden, following the old defence lines and canals around the city.

The neighbours have got a bit on so I helped out with a few things this evening.
The dogs were very happy to be out having a fossick. All the while they were trying to work out if I am a soft touch for scratches and belly rubs.
