It’s very simple device. You can set the temperature in #HomeAssistant or on the device with the wheel.
The temperature sensor is not exposed as sensor, so I had to create a helper in HA.
We will see how it’s going to operate during winter, but I have already ordered standalone temperature and humidity sensors for each room to make it more accurate.

I’ve added yet another #Zigbee device to the list (it’s now 34 devices)…
This time, I’ve got one #Sonoff #TRV #thermostat to test it out as a replacement for outdated bluetooth #Eve #EveEnergy…
A few things come to ming after 2 days:
- the valve adapters are way better than Eve’s
- it’s chunky
- takes 3 batteriesIt was easy enough to set up and pair - works with #ZHA. The display is clear (comes out blue only on photos, it’s white).

I have a strange #EveEnergy plug issue. I have two of them, both upgraded to Matter. Both of them were added natively to #HomeAssistant.
They will randomly be unavailable, but not at the same time. Sometimes they will be unavailable at the same time and restarting my HomePod Mini stereo pair will bring them back. The bit I don’t understand is why one can be responsive and they other is not. Any thoughts?

Someone did some preliminary protocol reverse engineering in 2016, and I wonder if it still works, and could piggy back now on #Thread or #Matter now?

why do so many of my Eve devices not show up in their designated room, or with their name, but some do? The #EveEnergy outlets all identify as the same model 20EBU4101 and firmware 3.2.1, but some have a #Thread Transport layer setting?

I have a lot of #EveEnergy devices but before they were on #thread / #matter.
So I’ll have to update them. I also have several #Kaiaterra #LaserEggs that are problematic to use at this point so I’m looking for alternatives

Da es mir ja nicht möglich zu sein scheint die #EveEnergy Plugs auf Matter zu upgraden, um sie jemals in #HomeAssistant zu integrieren: Was kauft man denn heute für Smart Plugs, welche den Stromverbrauch an Home Assistant weitergeben können?
Ganz ehrlich, die Investition in #Eve-Produkte dürfte rückblickend das dümmste sein, was ich in Sachen #SmartHome je gemacht habe. Es gibt eigentlich kein Produkt von denen, mit dem ich zufrieden bin. 😕 Und das obwohl sie mit die teuersten sind. Aber okay, die haben sich diese #HomeKit Exklusivität halt auch einfach bezahlen lassen.

Curious question about #Matter (and #HomeKit):
I’m using an #AppleTV (4K 2nd gen) as HomeKit central and several #EveEnergy
devices.I could upgrade the plugs and the AppleTV to Matter.
Would it be possible to control (at least) the smart plugs using an #Android smartphone? Or is this even with Matter not possible and you still need a #GoogleHome central and the “Matter support” is only for more interoperability of different devices insides ONE of this walled gardens? 1/2
